Trevor Reardon leading the chasing pack in third. At the bottom of the pile is Mohammed Javed, whose meagre 2,400 in chips is a direct result of his last second clash with
James Mitchell, an encounter that propelled Mitchell from serial grinder to potential final tablist. Meanwhile, bets are currently out on whether Javed will bother turning up with so few chips, the fact that he's a local boy perhaps swaying odds in favour of a show.
As Floppy and I departed, we raced towards the car having held out for our Midnight feast at MacDonalds, the branch next door to our hotel blessed with a 24 hour drive thru. Little did we know, however, that at 2.30am, there would be a queue of cars running into double digits and that we'd have to wait before eating our body weight in meat. Eventually, we managed to fill our tum tums with junk food, and are now back in our hotel rooms, safely tucked under our newly greased duvets and eagerly anticipating tomorrow's day of poker fun and frolics.
