Its the danger of flopping trips on a 2 to the flush board with no flush draw.

At best, you have 5 outs to make a full house on the flop (infact you only have 4 because someone is holding a Queen)

There are at worst there are 8 cards that will make the flush (in fact there are only 6 as they BOTH had flush draws)

Also, if a 2nd queen hits the board, you can only tie the pot.

Once the turn card comes, you now have another 3 outs that will give you the pot - so now you have 5 cards to hit for the win.

With BOTH players staying in, you would think that one was on the NUT flush draw, and the other had hit 2 pair on the flop, or maybe trips.

After the flop you are a 68% favorite to win

After the turn you are a 20% dog

You got your money in on the flop - what else could you of done?Huh? - I would of raised preflop (probably max) but would this of drove those players out?!?! I dont know

Just V UL - you got your money in when you were favorite, what else can you do?

Also, if a 2nd queen hits the board, you can only tie the pot.

Surely that makes me Aces full, and him only Queens full?

The only way other than the flush, is running 4's for the guy with the nut draw and running Q's for the other guy or a deuce for the wheel. I just don't believe that a guy can call for all his chips with only a single draw. Oh well...

Oh and IFM, I'm already out of the $3k, first I had 10,9spades in the bb and hit a 10,8,7 flop (two spades) so top pair and the straight flush draw, got called by another 10,9s (hearts) and he runner-runnered his flush. Then I moved my meagre stack all in with AQ only for one of the limpers to call with QJ and flop trips. He claimed he had pot odds, I claimed he failed maths at GCSE. Wink I tell ya, I either come very close to winning it or I go out instantly Tongue
