this hand caused a bit of discussion on friday night, £60+4 12k total chips starting at 25/50 ,50/100 , 100/200 200/400 etc etc 20min clock 70 players.

3 tables of 7 just waiting for 1 more to go out before we goto 2 tables, this game is a bit of a farce as it nearly always gets chopped emm 9-10 ways before a hand is delt at the final lol

2 players in question, steven-phatboy from blonde, good player who can be a little laggy at times , norman old guy whos solid and a winner in these type of games accross glasgow, not afraid to call u down when he thinks ur at it.

i cant remember exact stack sizes but they are both the chip leaders of the game at this stage.

folded to steven on the button who makes it 8k at 1.5k/3k norman calls , lets play it from stevens point of view, he has k10 , flp comes k 2 5 , both have like 75k- 80k

i always mess these up by posting results etc , so lets play it from here , i think its all pretty standard but others didnt......so norman checks action on steven....how much you bet or whatever....

say to the dealer: "you been fucking this up all night, untold misdeals and shit" then throw your remaining chips at her and say "i'm gonna fuck your  boyfriend up when i see him".

I think this is the best line  but there are several variations, depends what your table image is really.

c-betting is so common these days this is becoming a less effective strategy imo. Much better to bet the flop as normal and then check the turn if called to properly disguise the hand. In this example the guy should just call the raise because pushing on this board means more money will never be made from worse.

The dude could have absolutely anything at this point. It is almost impossible to put him on a hand because of the situation. A decent LAG raises on the button in a short-handed game, a player trading off a solid image defends and then c-raises the LAG's c-bet on a dry K-high board. I mean, if the button doesn't have a King here he's gonna fold right? So that kind of strong move is going to be tempting for any decent player defending his blinds.

But we have to ask ourselves why would the blind want to c-r the LAG button off the pot if he's got a good King himself? Does K-Q want K-10 or indeed atc to fold here? And I think the button's range is way wide enough that the blind can't be confident his oppo has tp. Because there is a very good chance the King is being represented here the best strat is to call and allow the blind to hang himself trying to convince us. If we are beat then so be it.

well steven shoved for value as i thought was the right thing to do as i couldnt see norman ever folding after hes re raised the flop , norman calls with kjs which is also pretty standard too

some were saying how its a great move by steven and dunno how norman calls with kj for 40k more which is pretty much what he had back and would still be average chips, theres no way you can ever fold after re raisin flop imo , some were saying aswell steven should have folded after norman re popped him which is pretty lol too

Is this the old guy norman that turns up to the casino with a pillow to put on his chair? If it is from my experience of playing with him he is as tight as mother Theresa, there is no way your mate is getting it in good here with K10 against him. I would have folded the flop against him, no way norman has been watching CR videos and making a move on Steve!

norman...is as tight as mother Theresa

This definitely makes a big difference when looking at how you should play the hand.

Is Mother Theresa especially tight? I'm not really sure. I will Google it later and find out.
