According to the last installment Jeeves is Phil Hellmuth. I'm sure Jeeves will remerge when he feels it's safe to do so.

So two questions from the weekend from me;
Grandad for you - what is the story with the mighty Tasos? some player IMO.
And for all - somebody please tell me who Jeeves is - was certain I knew, apparently not.
Obviously (although "great"
) I am nowhere near old enough to qualify as "Grand-dad" but I have played poker with Tasos for the best part of twenty years and he is a damn fine player and much under-rated imo. He is also a perfect gentleman and I have never had a cross word with him in all of the many years that we have played together.

Karabiner has answered the Tasos question better than I ever could, & I agree with every word. Old School, Legend, and a very big man indeed.

It's just staggering that 4 regular blondes do not know who the "real" Jeeves is, or was. Admittedly, we would not expect a high degree of perception from two Scots, & two ukelele playing country boys from the Fens, but this is just beyond comprehension.
AndrewT, Flops, & Jen, were all, improbably, nominated as "probable/possible".
I asked a few normal people at Luton last night, & most seemed equally ignorant of Jeeves (RIP) identity.
Old Abs Lincoln got it right.
