No this is a truly breathtaking place and there's just enough information flying to me to (hopefully) make it interesting for you and that's what's so fun about this job...
Like:
Bengt Sonnert eliminated in 4th place for $250,000
He moved in with K9 and Phil Ivey's A 10 took him out, even after the King popped out on the flop, he turned the 10 and rivered the Ace to get up to an astounding chip lead of
4.3million
Marc Goodwin has 880,000
And Paul Jackson therefore 500,000 or thereabouts.

I'd have thought that if you're going to call your little Red Hand Gang 'Team Bad Beat', then you could be tempting the gods of fortune
just
a bit.

Chip Counts, approx.
Marc Goodwin 700,000
Paul Jackson 700,000
Phil Ivey - 7 wheelbarrows full. That's about 4.3 million, at a guess.
Will we reach the dinner break, whch is just under an hour away? We will if one of those Brummies doubles up against Ivey!

Paul 'ActionJack' Jackson wins a couple of odd pots, one involving calling Marc Goodwins 40k river bluff (he had Jack high) with a little pair to win, and the other involved his betting 20k into a 160k pot on the river with a board thus: Q 6 2 7 K (3 spades) against Phil Ivey on the button. Phil called; now, what do you reckon Paul had? I bet you don't guess
. But that's what he had, and it won.

It's almost deathly quiet in the Arena now. There was a lot of vocal support for Bengt, but they have all left now, & Marc & Paul have it all on to wrest those chips away from the great & good (& also, today, a bit lucky) Phil Ivey.
But if they wanna win, then they have to gamble at some stage, & maybe THEY will get lucky, too. You don't get lucky by passing! Paul & Marc have played the comps of their lives, & it ain't over yet.

I agree Tikay, w/ that many chips Mr. Ivey will not play big pots, you will need to beat him w/ a draw or some luck, what does 2nd and 3rd pay?

It's gotten noticably quiet here as there is no desire apparent from the final three to get it all in with their fingers crossed.
All three players see a board come out of A 8 7 8 3 which is taken down by Paul Jackson with one of his 20,000 bet-outs on the river.
Apart from that there are a couple of walks(!) which included probably the only fold on the button from Phil Ivey in the tournament, which actually got an announcement from Matt Savage and a clap from the audience.

The big question - how's Marc's make-up doing under the hot lights? Has his tan started to run yet?
