This deserves it's own thread on the rail IMO - Laxie finished 1st of 1591 runners in the Stars $11 deepstack last night/this morning.

Quite an achievement indeed - well played, great stuff. Did you fold jacks preflop at any point?

Cheers all!  Sleep's not an option until after I get the dinner on the table.  Then, only a nap...we're off to our usual pub poker tourney this evening.  When I do finally get to sleep, it'll be as big a marathon as that tourney was!

As it happens, we had a good bit of snow here this week-end...so all 3 kids are home for the day.  Sigh.  Luckily they've been gentle with their sleep deprived lunatic of a mother.

I folded more hands than should be allowed by law.  The Duke was on the msn with me for a good bit and had to go to bed because it was paining him.  AQ, AK, small to mid pocket pairs - the lot were being folded when faced with a raise pre because I wasn't 'feeling the love'.  However, I didn't fold JJ once!

Just want to say again how much I appreciated the rail last night!!!  Had no idea how much it helps until I was the one in need.  Thanks to all and especially Sharplea who was there to the very end.
