Stealing the blinds with a weak king and get flatted by the button and flop tp on a draw heavy board. If a bet flop he prob moves in or at least raises putting me to test with a raggy king. Did i play this correct? Once i check call for pot control etc and lead the turn im sure he has a draw but i obv dont know which one so its easy for him to rep a flush draw here? i guess the rivered jack gave him showdown value so he didnt attempt to bluff me

I hate the check call on the flop and then leading out on the turn.

What are you trying to accomplish with that? The check call is fine but why would you then narrow your oppos range by leading out on the turn and not letting him fire another bet? Surely a check-raise would be better there? You are either ahead or behind..leading out doesn't do anything for you here. And then you check the river again? With what intention, calling an all in?

I just don't get it.

anyone else? I decided not to c bet because i reckon i am gonna get called/raised with a wide range from him then i am not sure where i am. If i did bet flop he would prob raise with his draw then i have a decision for my stack with a shit king? Once i check call and lead the turn im confident he has a draw? Do you think i played this bad then? I always struggle in these spots when stealing. I usually raise smaller pre btw but couldnt not be bovved to type in 750 or 800 and just used the cursor to make it 900 lol

whats the plan if he comes over the top of you on the turn? you got 40% of your chips in now and if you're looking to call a shove then you mangled this hand so badly by turning your k 8 high kicker into a trapping hand!!!??

And if you fold then the obv the line you took is horrible, if i'm this guy the way the hand played and with your stacks i shove here, you look weak and have enough back to fold.

as opposed to bad or good you played it a bit wierd

I like the c/c flop if this guy is aggro. Infact i quite like the line overall, totally not standard and i would usually crai turn but its still nice. I take it u c/c river?

Sigh

Bet the flop let him raise, then smash it in,

Unless you have the image of a nit.

If he bets the river your in touble if you thought he was on a draw. I'd have bet my busted str8 representing the flush.

Just bet the flop, it's drawy and he is going to call with a wide range. What's not to like with a bet. He can also check behind with draws which loses you a load of value.
What did you plan to do on the turn, it's a really awkward line
