I don't know the respective ages here, but I can tell you that becoming a granddad at 46 (my daughter was 17) has been a great experience.

I've got four of them now and the eldest who is nearly 8 was my slides and rapids buddy at Center Parcs last month  Smiley

One top tip - get plenty of rest between now and the arrival.
