I do not have children but that is largely irrelevant. I do not believe in lynch mobs, nor do my own parents. Are you trying to tell me that every parent out there is happy to break the law by taking justice into their own hands? No matter what the crime, i dont think its right.

Not sure why this is a debate about vigilantism.
I don't think Anita's post was calling for blonde forum members to do physical violence onto MikkyT's person, rather she was just letting us know when he's to be realeased, info that the mods here are probably grateful for. There might be understandable undercurrent of aggression in her tone perhaps, but that can be understood under the circumstances.
So we're on the lookout for accounts created after November of this year that go on to promote their shitty podcasts or spend an inordinate length of time talking of the glorys of bum love.

[ ] there is an angry blonde lynch mob awaiting mickeyt's release [ ] the police, lawyers and judges never make mistakes. ever [ ] if you had a child abused by a peadophile I'm sure you would think that 3 years (or whatever it is) in prison was enough [ ] nobody is let out of prison early because of overcrowding [ ] everyone knows that the judicial system is perfect I do not believe in lynch mobs, nor do my own parents. I really think there is a big difference between an adult getting abused and a child. The posts on this thread that you think are endorsing mob justice I see as just a kind of (perhaps slightly silly and awkward) way of showing sympathy with someone who has endured something that is pretty horrific really. |

There is no lynch mob but schedule one sex offending brings out anger because of the nature of the crime. This kind of crime leaves deep psychological scars in it's victims and you can see Anita is terrified.
My emotions got caught up last night when I posted but it still makes me angry that these crimes dont get the punishment they deserve.

The issue with sex offenders is that the majority continue to deny the crime and are not rehabilitated. Only a very small proportion want to do something about their offending and even those people find it difficult not to have urges to do it again. The problem with forcing rehabilitation is that people will say all the right things just to get out of prison. The majority of schedule one offenders remain in a state of denial and quite often convince themselves they did nothing wrong and were provoked in some way by children or adult victims. Jail doesnt work and I don't know what would? |

There's a broader social justice that is brought to bear in cases like these.
By that I mean, when you get out of the pokey after commiting a crime of this nature, you no longer have any pals. You are ostracized from all circles you previously mixed in. As well should be the case.
I read Anita's post as just trying to make sure this doesn't happen. MikkyT coming back to blonde and continuing on as before.

unless his old pals/muckers didnt get caught as he would have mixed with likeminded degenerates, by this i'm not talking about normal friends that obv didnt know what he/they were doing but the underground cirle of "friends" |

Im not a violent person and my kids are doing well with 2 years of counceling........im not after anyone i just want and have the right to live fear free...... thanks again Anita
