lol, why? Because Liverpool are a one man team, if Gerrard is depressed because of this or has to actually do some time for whatever he is alleged to have done, he wont be able to single handedly win the league for them. Mmmmm, and United would clearly have won the league last season without Ronaldo and his 42 goals...... |

I'm not a United Fan, they were a bit of a one man team too last year at times (though not this year, Ronaldo has been shit). I said the comment as a joke yesterday but now I'm starting to think that if this gets drawn out, it will genuinely balls up the season for Liverpool. Time will tell. |

Here's the rumours about what happened (how truthful they are, who knows). Gerrard is in the club with some friends, and the  says something insulting about his wife and kids. This leads to Gerrard shoving the and then one (or two) of his mates were the ones that did the actual damage that put the guy in hospital. All three are up for ABH (which I believe is a lesser offence than GBH, and I would have thought that GBH would be the charge for glassing someone in the face - but I'm no lawyer). They have been charged and bailed and are set to appear at North Sefton Magistrates' Court on 23 January, accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray. |
