I'd like to see The Sicilian make a final table. His little face would light up.

played less and played worse and still made a profit overall in 2008. 2009, i just don't know, i don't think full time job, fledgling business, ball and chain and serious poker can be accomodated anymore.

I have a few so have different categories for them and then hopefully keep looking back at this to motivate me,i'm a lazy bugger

So i have the following goals for 09

Achievable

Make a visit to DTD this was one of mine but is now already achieved thanks to stakers
Be a winning player @ 200nl

Possible but less likely

Sat into a gukpt event
Have a roll to take shots at higher levels than 200nl

Unexpected

Qualify for the irish open/wsopme

I will amend this over next week or so as that's all i can think of at the moment

Gl all in achieving your goals for this year

Due to a new addition due in the summer all my money will be put aside for this, so i'll be keeping an eye out for very generous blonde stakers looking for capable horses

Good luck to you all.

2008 has been a bit of a mixed year for me. I've had some big spin ups but my bankroll management has been terrible and I decided just before the new year that I'm going to start afresh. I need to learn that 10 buy ins is not sufficient as a cash roll.

So goals for 2009:

To start a blog.

To come to a blonde bash. Would be good to put a face to all the names.

To play the Greek Poker Championships again at DTD. To play the monthly £200 freezeout at the Big Slick Club more often and their £2/5 cash when it runs. (I swear to god this has to be the softest place to play poker in the world. Even the regs who play day in day out are still clueless). Play one leg of the GUKPT.

For me the most important thing really is to learn how to manage a bankroll. This year I have had several +£2/3k nites but I lose two or three buy ins or get a bad beat and go on monkey tilt and play roulette or blackjack etc. I think this year I have won roughly £15k playing poker but with my degen donk offs its been a break even year on the poker front. Hopefully starting a blog will keep me in check.

Edit: If any bloggers can pm me a link to get started on my blog that would be appreciated. cheers.

To play in an APAT event.
Reclaim the Blonde Bash Heads up title.
To enjoy playing poker in 2009 as much as I did in 2008.  Cool

Of course a nice win would be nice as well.
