Does firefox make a noise when it blocks a pop up? I keep getting that camera-shutter/click on a link type pop up blocking shlick/click noise, and as far as I know firefox is the only pop up blocker I'm running.
I forgot the second question while I was typing the first one.

Mmmm, I don't get a noise when it blocks pop-ups. I don't think I do anyway. I forgot the second question while I was typing the first one.
Fold.

I normally have firefox muted but I'm pretty sure it doesn't make a noise when it blocks popups

You will have something that looks like this on firefox. Nope! I don't got that. I've remembered the other question now. How do I stop google from anticipating what I'm going to type into the search box?

Right-click in the search box, untick Show Suggestions. This will still suggest things from your previous searches, but not from the whole of Google.
