If someone is taking the piss out of everyone else who plays his sport by thrashing them every time, the great british public hate them .... yet serial losers like Jimmy White (to name just one) is loved.

I will never get my head around that.

I like Davis and Bristow, dont like Hendry though....obv Taylor is entitled to be as arrogant as he wants to be and thats not the reason i dont like him. In fairness when he is talking about fellow players he always seems to be saying how good they are and theres never an easy game blah blah, Thats what dosent wash with me though i cant quite believe him ,he does not convince me that he is being genuine, Also what really boils my piss is i have often seen him battering oppo's he could be like 4 sets to nil up or something like that and he still dances around and fistpumps as if hes in the toughest match of his career!

Darts, like snooker is a solitary sport ... if you dont keep up your momentum and concentration even when leading by miles, you can easily lose focus ... you cant blame anyone for fist pumping and such as a means to keep them motivated and sharp ...

Its too easy to hate successful people !

Let me Clarify... I don't hate Taylor at all, i totally respect what he does for the sport and when he plays well is beautiful to watch, but for him to complain about king like that is very petty on his part IMO, he's been round the block a few times, and knows that King is threatening his title this year, and is trying to stir up a nothing incident to rattle his game a bit.

Its all good for the fans, but the media have blown it up from nowt.

Id love to see them head to head in the final this year.

Paddy power seem to be the only ones to have priced this up correctly

everywhere had Barnie Evens Fav (approx), with King around 6/4 - 7/4

Paddy has Barnie 13/10 and King 11/10 Fav!

The bookies seem to favour Barney for sure and he did beat King in the semi final of the Grand Prix and has a good head to head record against King.

Based on current form though you have to back King at these odds, last week King could easily have beaten Taylor and Barney could only draw with Mardle and didn't look very good. 8-4 to King for me.
