Pretty much straight away, we get Sandeep Shah removing what was left of his brakes, calling preflop and then just shoving the A-6-2 flop (with A-2 as it turns out) with no bust, but then he goes in next hand and finds Panos Panayi calling off his stack...
Panayi:
Shah:

Flop:  Would you believe it       Turn and river harmless

SO Panos Panayi finishes in 5th place, winning £10,234

David Mundle moves all-in for 370k from the cutoff. Sandeep Shah thinks about it for about a minute before logically stating, "Oh, what the fuck. I call."

He turns over , Mundle shows

Two Diamonds .....

Ooooh and the King of Bink is binked upon! Mundle up to about 750k. Shah still has 1.5 million though.

Another casualty: this time it's Ian Gascoigne, who just bust in 4th place winning £12,972

It all started threeway, when Paul Gourlay raised to 75k and the blinds, Gascoigne and Shah, both called.
Flop:   Gascoigne checked, Shah bet 100k, both players called.
Turn:   Now Gascoigne decides to bet out 150k, called by Shah, but that's enough of the hand for Gourlay who passes.
River:    Now Gascoigne moves in, but gets instacalled by Shah who holds for the rivered flush.  Gascoigne's bare is no good - he leaves the tourney threehanded now...

"Binking All Over" as Johnny Kidd and the Pirates would sing. If they were 21 year-old poker addicts using LOLspeak and living in 2009.

Davind Mundle moves in over the top of a Sandeep Shah raise. Call. Again

Mundle:

Shah: again

Two Clubs

"Come on!!!" shouts Mundle despite the fact he hasn't hit yet.

And now he takes the lead and Shah needs a King.

And from the short stack, Mundle now has about 1.5 million, equal to Shah.

Shah limps in. Paul Gourlay raises an extra 130k. Call

.

Shah quickly moves in, Gourlay instantly calls.

Gourlay:
Shah:

Two Clubs

Paul Gourlay is OUT in 3rd winning £13,666

As he walks past me he says, "I fucked up, I thought I had !"

Immediately after this, the remaining two players chopped the £10,000 that was still unaccounted for, but, officially, the runner up of the Largest £300 Event in Europe was David Mundle, so the Champion is Sandeep Shah!  Well done that man.

£10,000 is being left for when there's two or three players left and they chop it up first place.

Thanks be to all involved in these past two days of Updates, Jen and Floppy for the leg-work and great reading, DTD for putting their hands in their pockets (and providing a stonking tourney) and to all those "behind the scenes" at Blonde who brought this (hopefully not) one-off Update to our lappies.

Now guys, hit the sack cash games.
