Those awfully ice people at Betfair have noticed that although I play poker on their site, I don't bet.

So, they've offered me a free £20 bet  --  the deal is that I have to bet £20 on 'sports' within 48 hours and if I win, I get the winnings, plus my stake back.
If I lose, they will return the stake.

Anyone got any suggestions as to how I handle this?

My thought was to bet on something at long odds because it's a freeroll?

Raphael Jacquelin to win the Malaysian Open 100/1. Overpriced in amazingly weak field IMO.

Obv you have to pick 3 teams from the football fixtures on saturday and lump the 20 on a treble then sit down at 3 o'clock to watch Soccer Saturday as Brentford go 3-0 up in 20 minutes to bust your bet.

1   Poland v Wales (Backing  Poland @ 2.16)
2   Spain v England (Backing  The Draw @ 3.08)
3   Austria v Sweden (Backing  Austria @ 3.03)
4   Germany v Norway (Backing  Germany @ 1.37)
5   Turkey v Ivory Coast (Backing  Turkey @ 2.19)

Mix of bets combining these in different ways

This is starting to look like how to turn £20 into £22.50. Should be taking a shot with a free bet imo. Think how gutted you'll be on Sunday morning when Jacquelin wins the golf. £1,980>£2.50

If you are sticking with the football, Poland are a dreadful price vs Wales. (Should be more like 7/4, they've priced it up as if Poland are at home)

What can I say? I was seriously tempted by the arbitrage suggestion...
