What was it like living together?

Overall it was really good living together. 9 blokes in a house for a month - you would think there would be quite a lot of arguements and fighting but not once did anything get close to a fight. The only time I remember losing my temper was when Rich claimed to have bear flu and while some of us went out and did the shopping, him and Brent stayed in and were supposed to tidy up. Obviously Rich just laid on the sofa the whole time and hardly anything was done.

The house got untidy quite a bit as there was no women about! Generally it was left until someone went on a mad clean up. This would normally be either Benji or myself... When I am tilting I took my anger out on the mess, at home generally when I tilt I don't do this though - much to Ling's disappointment, I generally eat when I tilt, scoff down 6 creme eggs or something like that.

Who won on the trip? Who lost?

I think everyone ended a loser tbh. Trigg possibly came back with a few pennies more than he went with thanks to his big score at the beginning but it wasn't a massive amount.

Who was most different to how you thought they'd be pre-trip and why?

I new the majority of guys before the trip anyway.. I don't really know an answer to this question as everyone was really as expected.

Who surprised you the most and how?

TommyC bringing the stripper back definitely suprised us all!

Who was the most annoying?

Trigg! Farts, burps, smokes, and walks around every morning in nothing but a bedsheet around his waist.

Who was a legend?

Many could be chosen for this one as everyone added something and all made the trip. I would have to pick out Benji. He went to Vegas with a limited roll and a plan, and forgot about that after the first week. Came out and enjoyed himself instead and when he got pissed he was the funniest! Jumping in Bellagio fountains with me and Jones topped it off.

What would you have done differently?

Paced myself a bit more. I lost a load of money on the first week without realising and was chasing from there!

Did anyone die?

Sadly not.

Please post any controversial questions on here that can be answered by all anonymously and results posted here... Ie.. Best person, etc

Who spent the night with the high class hooker?

No high class hooker as such but TommyC spent a couple of nights with the stripper previously mentioned in the thread.

how many of you got laid?

Just the 1 afaik.

Who won on the trip? Who lost?

i won on the trip, not massive amount but not pennies, m3boy and alex martin keep asking me how much, but thats a little too personal even for me to answer, im defo not busto tho. I think vegas is a lot to do with impetus and if the lads got off to a better start they would have binked.

Who was the most annoying?

shrewdie, just slept the entire trip, never went shops, never cleaned up and didnt wear swimshorts, just some horrendous white 3 quarter length jogging bottoms all day.

Who was a legend?

Evans <> benji

What would you have done differently?

sold more american dollars, went through money like confetti the last 3 weeks of the trip.

Who was the most annoying?

TRIGG.

Smells, farts, burps all day long. Sat in his chair with the most terrible music on all day and night smoking 60 a day

Blocked at least 3 toilets up during the trip, then decided to just got for a shit over the top of the blocked up toilet. gg wp. [  ] he sure cleaned it up

Uve been asleep 1 hour with no bedroom and are sleeping on a tez mattress or on the sofa and Trigg comes in asking questions and playing loud music with his white sheet wrapped around him.
+ then wonders why your still asleep, its because i got woke up about 17 times in the night m8. lol

OK - some quick fire questions for everyone!

Fav Hotel (as in style/place etc)?

When I first went to the Venetian I didn't like it but as we spent more time in there I came round to it. My favourite though is Luxor just because I am fascinated by the Pyramids.

Fav Poker room?

Only played in 3. I think Ceasers wins though as it is so big, just so much more table space than other places.

Fav waitresss outfits?

Venetian!

Did anyone have an 'earl of sandwich' at plant hollywood?

Dont think so.

Fav drinking venue?

Body English at the Hard Rock was a sick place, had a good night in there. I think the Voodoo Lounge wins though for me, the view alone puts it top of my list.

Most expensive cab?

I think Shrewdie paid the biggest cab fare when he got lost on his own. Our cabs to Lake mead cost us $140 each though and we needed two.

Biggest tip?

Most tips are pretty standard 15-20%, I did pay $20 for a $2 bill though effictively a 900% tip

Trip high?

Tough one, didn't have many highs tbh! Just enjoyed the nights out and stuff, I was pretty high when we got some special stuff in.

Trip low?

I was frustrated many times. Mainly after playing the deepstacks a few times and getting fucked in big spots. I didn't play the last two weeks because of it but still managed to be so annoyed when I lost the big pot on the cash table to the two outer 3 nights before leaving.

Best food venue?

On previous visits to the US I have enjoyed some great steaks. This trip was disappointing tbh on that front. My favourite meal was in the Voodoo Restaurant I think, either there or at the steakhouse me Rich and Jones went to in New York New York.

US women - yes or no?

Yes. It's great just sitting and watching the talent go by.

would you ....... rush back/just go back for poker/never go back again? (choose 1)

errrr, limited choices... I would go back of course, spending over a month there though for me was too much. I looked into changing my flight back after a fortnight but as we moved to a new house which had a pool I decided to just lay by the pool everyday and go to clubs at night rather than do alot else.

and finally - non poker flips - winner or loser ?

Sigh, Loser.

OK - some quick fire questions for everyone!

Fav Hotel (as in style/place etc)?

Never saw the Rooms, but Venetian is nice and apparently the rooms are heavenn

Fav Poker room?

Venetian i guess, played most of my torns there and are well ran and v good structures

Fav waitresss outfits?

[  ] caesars.
Seriosuly tho, some of the waitresses at Venetian are incred.

Did anyone have an 'earl of sandwich' at plant hollywood?
I didnt..

Fav drinking venue?
The pool.

Most expensive cab?
Mine! as reported earlier in thread, when i got lost, had no phone and no idea where the house was.

EDIT: 8 of us got in 2 taxis to Lake Mead which cost like $150 each there and like $100 back each, $500ish total. Worth it though!

Biggest tip?
No idea, but Rooks did pay $20 for a $2 note.

Trip high?
Errr the few days we had off from poker relaxing probably. Lake Mead, mine Rooks and Jones day of doing random stuff was very good too.
+ when Trigg had a decent score early in the trip, everyone was buzzing etc.

Trip low?
Getting stacks in loads of torns and just not running good in the crucial pots/flips when it really mattered.

Best food venue?
ROOKS BBQ Ltd obv... or the steakhouse at Binions that me, BrummieBoy, Benj and Rooks went to. Thought my steak was heaven.

US women - yes or no?
obv yes.

would you ....... rush back/just go back for poker/never go back again? (choose 1)
Id 100% love to go back 2mo, if i had the $$. I wouldn't go again with the small amount of £ i had. Just couldn't enjoy yourself/do what you want on limited $.

and finally - non poker flips - winner or loser ?

Winner

Although flipping and not getting a room in the 2nd house and just having a matress in the lounge was horrible.

Shrewdies, in terms of the Vegas trip rank in order who gave the most to this thread. (Clue: put LeKnave to the bottom)
