Matt and I are having a proper old disagreement over what constitues a 'suffix' for the footy team question.  Now normally I'd just post on blonde to get clarification (to prove that I am right, obv), but I can't until at least Monday!

I'm guessing there might be some debate on this one.  Surely, it's any word(s) that are placed after the place name.  Such as Academicals after Hamilton.

that's what I think.  it's when the place name forms the whole team name but it has more than two words (eg whether York would count if a team was called, simply, New York) that is the subject of our debate.
