One of the first 'second chances' goes to Shaun Sharam at the hands of the Kid James Atkin:

He held  As against the kid's AK, which looked tempting on a flop with two spades, but did him no good, and the "chips!" shout rang out across the room.  Thanks to Jonathan for notifying us of this early episode (how helpful is he?)

Flop = KQ3

Seat 9 bets, receives call from mateyboy.

turn 10

river 2

Matey boy bets - seat 9 calls.

Dan Samson gets involved in a pretty big early pot too, which I caught on the turn when the board looked like:  Two Clubs three diamonds .  The river was just appearing:  .  His opponent bet 1,000 on the river which Dan just flat called holding  three clubs !

Junior picks up a 5k or so pot calling an all-in of 1,500 on a board of  with the nice-looking  .  He was up against K 10, but the  As and  three diamonds finished the other guy off conclusively (well, his chip stack number one anyway) and gave Greg a nice start.

Burnley John doubles through.

Holds pocket aces versus ace 4.

Bets 150. Called.

Flop = A47

He bets 600. Mateyboy makes it 1200. John smooth calls.

john checks rag turn. Mateyboy bets 1000. John sets him all in. Mateyboy calls.

I believe he was drawing dead.

Lovely!
