Snoopy uploading the pics with mutterings like "one more bar, you can do it!"  So please be patient while the good pics crawl on.

And Shaun Sharam the official first casualty - after losing his first chips to the kid, he had KQ on a Q44 board, but he was up against Kings and the monster of A4, which scooped the lot!  (The turn and river being 3,2).

AlrightJack here again.

Martyn Cavanagh, who finished 3rd in the main event at Blackpool last week has doubled up via Pete 'the bandit' Evans. He's limped with 78 off and the flop comes A78. He bets, bandit raises, Martyn makes it some more and a few raises later all the chips have gone in. Pete turns over AK and the jack and the three on the turn and river dont change the situation.  "Chips please"

Right, we're working on an initial FULL chip count, two tables at a time.  Giving thoroughness a shot, with the excellent and very quick chip counting of Mr. snoopy:

Robert Binelli    7,300
Ian Woodley   14,000
Kevan Simcock 5,725
Simon Millington  8,350
Tikay                6,600
Dave Finney      6,225
Darren Grosvenor  2,800
Trevor Reardon   6,000
Kevin Zarandi      22,000
John Stamatelopoulos  4,650
The Camel          11,500
D. Shearer          8,050
Michael Greco      5,600
Ash Pervaiz         8,900
Michael Fletcher   11,000
R. Rauf               8,800

The counts are still in a sort of fledgeling state as not everyone has had their second set of chips, but hopefully it's interesting anyway... They're into the second blind level now.

Snoop Doggy AlrightJack here.

Hand between Greg Hill and James Atkin. UTG flat calls, Greg makes it 500 to play. Its folded round to Atkin in the sb, who bumps it up to 1500.

Greg asks how much James has left, then calls after being told he has 8,000 or so left.

Flop

James bets 4,000. Greg passes after a delay that could just about be called a dwell but would be lightning fast if it were Carlo (who is also on the same table) playing the hand.

Semi-Texan John Hewston is out.  But he was already wandering off when I saw his empty chair and thought better of chasing him for the story...

Snoop is getting the final few tables' counts, and gathering a little list of interesting stories for when he returns, while I assign names to stacks courtesy of the list provided by the ever-helpful cardroom staff here.

Junior just took a hit. Couldn't see his hand, but he bet about 1800 on the river of an A7AQrag board.

Opponent took the pot with A6.

Quick hand of note on table 8.

Mateyboy battle.

Seat 9 raises preflop with AK. 1 caller.

Flop = KQ3

Seat 9 bets, receives call from mateyboy.

turn 10

check check

river 2

Matey boy bets - seat 9 calls.

Mateyboy shows AJ for straight.

Which mateyboy had the AJ ?

I'm confused
