Hellmuth played great in last nights match, but I really think JC Tran outclassed him....he gets it wrong in that one hand, but the other times his reads are spot on.

Hellmuth "I'll tell you what I had kid cos maybe then...."

Tran "You had Ace high"

Hellmuth "........"

I liked the push on the diamond flop aswell, if it was two diamonds on board he might have got the Hellmuth patented instacall...

thought tran was quality, wasnt overly impressed with his showboating at the very end of the match and his smack talk. u played gr8 tran, now stop going on about it....

Absolutely!

It's great TV, but if Hellmuth, Tran & Co are indulging in plenty of Table Talk - & they were -  we want to hear it! It was irritating beyond words that the commentators spoke "over" them.

To be fair, it's pretty hard to please all the folks all the time with TV Poker formats, but it's golden to be able to listen to Hellmuth & Co talking through the hands, & it does not need commentary at that moment. Unless it's Mr Ulliott mouthing off as to how hard done by he is, as he did, in which case, go ahead, talk over him.

See how difficult we are to please?

The greatest commentator ever was Henry Longhurst, because he let the picture tell the Story - a lost art now, I fear.
