As soon as the river hit, Birtles pushed all in for 40,000, putting Gibson to a decision for virtually all his chips. After a long dwell, Gibson made the fold.

I won't reveal his hand, but I will say Gibson made a huge laydown. What's the minimum you call with given the details above?

I pretty much agree. I think the big decisions come with 1010, JJ and KK, and the nut flush. Any aces full is a call. If you have reason to suspect he is definitely not bluffing, trips, straight or lower flush is an easy pass.

Most borderline hand to decide I believe is JJ.
