We've lost David Johnson after a plucky battle. He sang his swan song with , but was unable to improve against Senh Man Ung's on a board.

Yes, bittersweet for Chompy. He's out now though; didn't even get a board.  Sad

Greg Hunt (UTG) =
Alan Trueick (big blind) =

Board =

Hunt gone, and probably mumbling a word that rhymes with his surname.

Assuming that Stephen Holden raised it up preflop and David Jones called, the two players saw a flop where Holden bet 17,000 and Jones flat-called. On the two hearts river, Holden simply shoved all in, and Jones called.

Jones =
Holden =

... with no card in the deck, our daydream believer was left drawing dead and rose from his seat before the river was even dealt.

Martyn Cavanagh was a player who just missed out on the cash, pipped by Chompy who wasn't here. Cavanagh's demise came predominantly at the hands of Dana Carter who raised from the button; Cavanagh called in the small blind with A-J. Both checked the 4-4-J flop, and the eight turn, but it all went in on the six river, Carter lapping up the pot with A-4. Down to 17,000, Cavanagh then went out with A-J, again, versus pocket fives on a K-6-8-6-x board.

Senh Man Ung and Joe Grech saw a cheap flop in the small and big blind respectively. Joe Grech called a bet of 15,000, and both players checked the turn. On the river, Ung led for 30,000 and Grech folded.
