"The story itself is filled with events not typically found in comic works (e.g., the sudden death of a child and the fatal savaging of a man by a bear); likewise, the value system of the first three acts and the fifth extends beyond the social concerns that are the usual purview of comedy to include the ethical and metaphysical assumptions informing tragedy. Such factors, among others, may be responsible for the rivalry between two terms that for over a century have vied for preeminence in the matter of the play’s classification: romance and tragicomedy."
Vast majority have classed it as a comedy, as did the author, some experts class it as tragicomedy. It's a comedy. Appeal denied. 2 points kinboshi*, 1 ItsMrAlex2u
*About the same for your essay.
The vast majority? Vast majority of people who haven't read it or seen it?

"It's a unique play and rather defies description," Kilmurry said.
"It's listed as a romance in any 'Complete Works of Shakespeare.'
However, that hardly prepares you for the contrast of darkness versus light we get in the play, as well as the magical and fanciful aspects."

I was going to put Measure for Measure for this, but didn't as it's a 'problem play', so put All's Well That Blah Blah Blah instead, but turns out that that's a problem play too. Under the new rules, which I haven't read properly, how many points do I get if I successfully appeal against my own answer?

the fatal savaging of a man by a bear
Could be genuinely hilarious, if you get a bear with good timing.

ItsMrAlex2u is no bloody use as a seconder if he just buggers off after the objection and leaves me to bring all the evidence forward.

So, it wasn't really an appeal as the seconder was absent during the process.

This was the same Kilmurry who once discribed Kinboshi as a "lag-tard" in a dtd cash game!!
