Do you have any more documented evidence before I consider the issue?

documented, photographic or monetary?

linkage to evidence on the interweb

I have not looked for such evidence.  there was nothing in the original question that said it had to be a widely recognised game.  Strip yahtzee, as I play it, is (as the question asked) a game played with dice.  my answer was therefore correct.  The only similarity with regular yahtzee is the use of five dice and the score rankings.  I suppose one could also call it 'strip poker dice'.  my answer was therefore an ace.  should my objection be overruled could you please delete the photo and never look at it again?  k, thanks.

I will now review the evidence supplied, have a coffee, and return, having considered the photographic exhibit submitted by PM.

Decision. There is nothing to be ruled upon. Looking back on the thread it seems the only person risking themselves as seconder is JonMW, this non-person has no standing as he is not an entrant. No valid objection has, therefore, been made.

Will delete the pic.

Also a word on scoring - I note that
Quote
If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + one half the number of distinct correct answers given, rounded up.
is being interpreted as sheep score + half the amount of "1s" - but is it possible that the correct way should be sheep score + half the number of total answers (since these are all distinct correct answers)?

Just a thought

The marking stood. If there had been an objection in time the result MAY have been affected.

Well it's not really an objection so much as a scoring mistake if that list is correct

The scoring, for failures, is sheep plus 50% (rounded up) of correct answers. If 2 players give the same correct answer that is counted as a single answer. The first option you give is not correct ( and I am scared of going back and checking my marking). The second example you give is ambiguous as total answers doesn't automatically equate to correct answers. I hope that's clear, it's been a long night.

the scoring is ALWAYS correct unless successfully appealed Wink

Welcome to the fun but sometimes unfair world of a Reverse Sheep quiz.

Yes I did make an error but no one appealed it.

Just to check wrt scoring

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=40507.330 #333
Is calculated 7 + 1/2 (4) = 9

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=40507.435 #441
Is calculated 9 + 1/2 (6) = 12

But #333 there were 7 different correct answers given and #441 there were 6.  Or am I missing something?

Which scores are you questioning, yours or the fails?

Where were you when the fun was happening?

Be there, or square, tomorrow. 8.00pm GMT.
