thats not the story, i thought it was a girl from school who i liked, same name. Pretty good research.  had been groomed for a couple of weeks. I go down to the offy, spend my case £30 on wine, smirnoff ice/beers etc.. they tell me its house number 12 on a very long road, when i get there, its the wrong house. So off i trod to 112, about a miles walk.
Then i get a text saying put you dick through the letterbox. I knew id been stung and a car full of mates screamed round the corner abs pissen em. I had no money to go out on the town as they did, although i did have a willing drinking partner for my alcopops and wine. My old man, who told me to chalk it down to experience. I found out later that he was in on it, MARV!

This could have been funny if it was done in good humour but it wasn't. This is bullying.

Just to stir up some heated debate........

Isn't it likely that those who do find this funny are the people most likely to be bullies themselves?

Is MC's take on it not similar to that of your own?

I can see why you might think that. I see potential humour in this. For me, the difference is in the intention. I did start giggling at the clip because I thought the guy was being set up by a mate but my mood quickly changed when I realised that he was being set up to feel crap. The guys that did this gained more 'success' the more damage they did.

If you wind up a mate and you believe your mate will enjoy the experience, in hindsight, then I think it's fair game and good fun. Expect similar treatment in revenge and enjoy the banter of that too. But if you are gaining pleasure from someone else's hurt then it's a completely different matter. I often describe bullying as 'parasitical'. A parasite gains a benefit and in the process it damages it's host. The big danger in society imo is that we are so busy experiencing the benefits, by seeing the funny side, that we can overlook that fact someone is being seriously hurt. And because we feel good, laughing, the whole thing is OK.

P.S. For those of you who don't know, I regularly work with victims of bullying.
P.P.S. I bully these people regularly.

Hi swordpoker..i did find it funny to start..but when the victim fell quiet when facing his bullies, well it made me realise how low this guy must have been.pretty sad.is it true sword that a lot of victims become bullies themselves?there is a family above us,and the big brother torments his lil bro constantly.i intervene when i see it..but recently i,ve seen this wee boy,he is 9.replicate his brother,s ways..he fails most of the time, his proposed victims bite back and he has no response.this has been taking place for some time now,and the poor boy has a psychologist, his eating and schooling has been affected to his detriment..of course it goes without saying his parents are not the greatest.
