Good arguments!

Naive people have more fun though. Not all mistakes end up with you getting photographed putting a vibrators in your mouth.

I always thought vibrators were a sub set of dildos.

Are you saying the two groups are distinct?

This is so cruel - who would do this?  Poor lad!

But seriously who would meet a total stranger, who lived that far away, that they had met on facebook?

Gutted for him...

When a man answers the phone, he doesn't immediately twig what is going on, but instead clings to the belief that this woman does exist and could she please get on the line.
Similarly, when he knows he has been set up, he is slow to twig that it is by scousers out to hurt him, and he reacts in as good natured a way as can be expected under the circumstances. (ie, when asked how he feels, he replies matter of factly "shit" and doesn't get either defensive or aggressive towards those who are bullying him)

So yes, he is a little naive in nature, but is that a bad thing?
Personally, I think the world needs a few more naiive people.

Cynical people don't invent things, cynical people don't set new world records.

When a lasting peace breaks out in the middle east, it's going to be engineered by a naive person, or a naive group of people, who thinks that such a thing is possible.

Or doing your brains in the worst strip club in Vegas....
