Doesn't that premier league table look lovely ?
Gooners in fourth place with a goal difference +6 over the next rabble and all of our players coming back.
Let's just hope the spuds don't take a dive tomorrow out of spite.....

I am a tad concerned, our next 2 games are against Villa & Chelski.
any point form those 2 games would be a miracle.

Yeah you must be truly proud of Arsenal being 4th in the table, basically the minimum position you should be in given the clubs standing in English football.
Await my thread bragging about Norwich fininshing 21st in the Championship, it will be a truly proud moment.

Well considering that the three clubs above us are massively in debt and we operate within our budget, yes I am

I'm not sure about the financial details of the club, but they are listed so you could probably dig out the info if you needed it.
That said, I would have thought some of the cost would be off set but the Highbury housing project that is going on.

Have had deposits placed on them. Cheaper for medium and short term investors to take a hit without completing I'd think. Plus how much are the flats going to raise?!

Bump for an answer from the goons.
Kev from what I understand(and I maybe completley wrong btw) but the repayment we have to make on the stadium is £14m a year for 10 years, this too is obv depentant on the apartments selling at Highbury. Ralph says 90% have been sold, this tbh is news to me, I am not saying he is wrong it was my understanding because of the credit crunch they have not sold as originally expected.
However having said that a matchday at the emirates generates £3m. with 19 league games, 6 possibley 7 CL games and 3FACup games. This is a minimum of £84m. This is not counting a possible CL semis and also 2 league cup games.
With the millions of ££ we get from tv deals(as do every club), CL progression and prize money for top 4 finishes, possible facup win and so on, we are hardly "struggling to maintain" the debt.

Don't Arsenal season ticket holders get all home games, excluding the carling cup (bizarre in itself) included in the price of their ticket? Thats how I understood it from the arsenal fans I know whith season tickets! So the revenue thing is flawed. Then there's the costs of those London wages!
