If it has a question about aquatic mammals, I'll be locking the thread.

We do know that our new quizmaster's questions are likely to be extremely obscure, right?
hopefully not. The spirit of the reverse sheep game is that the questions are supposed to be 'easy' to answer correctly, the skill being in giving a different answer to most. The game does seem to be evolving somewhat though, but hopefully it won't go so far that people are excluded from taking part as the questions are too difficult.
my point exactly i had 3 minutes to read through the questions and get my answers
any other quiz i could of done that
this quiz i couldnt and as i didn have time to cheat i choose some silly answers
pity they werent taken in the way they were intended
although i now have the blonde record high score that will be hard to beat

Holiday from Saturday evening please ensure questions are up with enough time for me to answer before I go.
The thought of laying on the beech without having entered the Non Bloggers quiz would just ruin my holiday.

Shit post Nakor, such a clown.

I actually thought this quiz was okay in terms of the level of difficulty.
A few questions which might catch a few people out are quite good, but the majority of the questions weren't hard questions, some people might not necessarily be familiar with the subject and find them hard though.
For example: the rugby question - easy question unless you don't know anything about rugby, Mario kart question - really easy question, if you've played it.
The only evolution I don't like is Roberts introduction of having to have a seconder to an objection. As Kinboshi has pointed out, there's no real reason for anyone to do this. It only gets done if someone wants their own objection seconded or they don't care about winning.
I don't think any Quiz Master can assume they won't make a mistake, so I think it's wrong to put any obstacle in the way of people making appeals. After all, the QM has the final say - so if they want to stick to their guns they can do.

Exactly.
With a good question, everyone should be able to give a correct answer. Obviously, these popular correct answers should be high-scoring, so more obscure answers would yield fewer points, but run the risk of becoming fails (and so be super-high scoring)
Very easy questions also allow levelling battles as people try to avoid the 'common' answers, meaning an obscure answer can become a sheep, whilst the obvious answer gets ignored (like no one picking Argentina as a South American country).
Then there are questions which deliberately have some sort of ambiguity in them, which will lead to be pleasant and civil debate as to which answers are correct.

AndrewT will be free to make any adjustements to the quiz as he sees fit, to assist in it's running or to just be bloody minded. Wonder what he will do?!?

that's me that is. I could have put Johnny Wilkinson, but opted for the pass instead.

Yeah, I'm killing this rule. Leads to not many actual objections, which is no fun at all. I think a previous QM must have been running scared.
I'm working on a new rule.
