Villain seems a real overplayer of hands. If he's raised then it's unlikely he won't stopping betting, though OOP and when calling a raise he plays slower, also he's very happy to value bet thin and bluff at any sign of weakness. When I've had strong made hands on the turn, he's laid down pretty much all the time to a bet from me. On a board, I saw him pot bet for $70 on the river but snap fold when the c/raiser moved in for just $26 more.

Should I be throwing in moves like this once in a while to stop myself getting bet out of the pot on the turn/river or am I overcomplicating matters? Also, if I do fire $18 or so on the turn, then surely he should still fold on the river right? Does this line work out more profitable since it looks really bluffy? FWIW he snapped my river raise.

think you may be over-analysing this one if that's even a term!

He's a fish who's going to pay u off with a flush whether you bet turn and river or check-raise by ur description of how he plays hands.

Think both lines are fine.
