40% of todays miles in the bag, pub lunch round the corner! First ten miles today were dreadful, and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't had negative thoughts about completion. However know have a proper knee support after a special delivery from the support team and I'm feeling so much better!! About 15 mins ahead of schedule as well I think.

52 miles down, 78 (actually it's a struggle to do simple maths!) to go.

Met up and walked a bit with Chris. He looks good, ( piccy's to follow)  I wanted to walk more but felt that maybe it was best to leave him to go at his own pace etc..I understand that during these sort of challenges folk prefer to be left on their own to cope, not as Chris said nowt like that apart from if it got a bit tough going he would prefer to go it alone. I finish work at lunch time tomorrow and would enjoy to join him again for his last few miles of the day,  walking in silence or chatting , but that is his choice alone as I totally understand sometimes it is better to go things alone, but my offer is there. What I am trying to say Chris is that I won't be offended if you prefer to cope alone but at the same time I love walking. The choice is yours fella, only you know how which is the best way for you to do this. xx

Not too sure how many of you on here have met Rooky9 but those that haven't he is one in a million. A truly genuine nice guy, his parents must be very proud.

A really rough last 5 or 6 miles today, but another 33.5 ticked off. Only 58 left to go!! I'm not moving well at all at the moment but a nice sleep and stretch in the morning ami should be okay to go.

Maureen can I get back to you in the morning? The miles with you this afternoon were the 'easiest' of the day (in terms of they went quickly rather than it was flat etc!). That kind of makes me want to take u up, however like I said when It gets tough then I think I might be best keeping myself to myself. I'll see how the knee is on the morning.

Thank you for the kind words too.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
