a little bit of googling tells me that the total transfer fees that have passed between these 2 clubs ever, ever, ever is £34k

astonishing when you consider they are 2 of the biggest clubs in the world just a few miles apart

Having seen the way that Rooney and Gerrard combined on Saturday, and knowing that they get along really well off the pitch too, what are the chances that we could see a deal this summer?

Berbatov, Nani, and Kuszczak for Gerrard ? I'm sure he'd love to get at least one Premier League winners' medal before he retires...

What's more likely? ....Stevie G to Man Utd or Rooney going to Liverpool. Any bookmakers want to specualte on odds?

Stevie G to ManYoo.

1) the only chance he has at winning the league and going from ManYoo to Lolpool would be a step down for any player.

Matt Busby played for Liverpool.

He certainly did.

In more recent times I can think of only two who have gone to Liverpool after having been at United, Ince and Beardsley (beardsley is stretching a point, but he is a good quiz answer when you think about all his clubs).

I can't think of an ex-Liverpool player turning up at OT though?

No, it would be a step backwards Wink

Funny how two people can see the same piece of information in such diametrically opposite ways.
