Wow this is a shock as I remember Luigi turning up to gala after his restaurant closed every night to play cash with us.

His bark was worse than his bite but one of the characters who definitely made for a more interesting game of poker.

Thoughts are with his family.

RIP

OMG! I'm shocked. We shared a £1/2 cash table most nights at DTD, the most recent being last Tuesday. He seemed in fine fettle then.

RIP Luigi.

No! It cannot be so.

OMG, that's so bad.

He was quite young - 50, 55 maybe?

That is a real shock and I've known Luigi twenty years or so too.

A regular at Gala Notts and present when I played my first ever live tournament. Was never the most cheerful of chaps, but few had a genuine bad word to say about him and he'll be severely missed. R.I.P.
