I think it was praying on his mind that he had turned down £17k and now he was down to £9k. i guess it depends on how much £9k means to you, but I was surprised he said deal.

Obviously we don't really know his personal circumstances he may have felt he had to leave with at least £x amount but ffs £14k in that situation. Someone give him a lesson in odds, oh too late

you cant risk 14k if worst case scenario is £1. there's no wat I'd take the £28k he was offered because you're worst case would be the £1 and £10k left which would be an offer of about £3k, which I'd take. your goal has to be get down to an acceptable figure and a dream figure then take your shot. for example if your lat two boxes are £10k and £100k the box is worth £55k so your offer will be about £40k. I say no deal there and mnetally accept the £10k. if it's £1 and £100k and I'm offered only £25k I deal because the £1 is unthinkable.

Managed to catch most of this today at work...

It's great entertainment.

The lady took a deal of £57K.

Must try and remember to record this in future.

Difficult call for her as £57k is a lot of money and not convinced he would really have offerred 84K if she was still in. Still lovely amount to win, good on her.
