Brown Trousers Moment.

Having called Te Ng Cao's raise preflop, Dan Brown raised his 20k flop bet to a total of 65k on the board, Cao reraised all-in and Brown saw 1/3 of his chips just evaporated as he folded after thinking for two minutes. Cao showed .

Big hand between Ghassan Chehbi and Sam Trickett.

Ghehbi raises preflop to 15k and Trickett calls.

.

Bet of 20k from Chehbi, Trickett makes the call.

Chehbi bets 20k again.

Trickett gives it some serious dwellage before folding 8's. Chehbi shows .

Rod has the bubble news though....

Yes folks the bubble has indeed burst!

George Brown was the man left with chewing gum splattered all over his face, his 99 racing unsuccessfully versus the J-Q of Eddie Lundon as a queen hit the flop and he didn't improve.

There is a huge sigh of relief amongst the remaining players, especially the shorter stacks. They all have one hand in the air and are shouting "we're getting paid!"

Well they would if they were flushy. As it is they are just getting on with it quietly.

Given the protracted period around teh bubble though, the average stack size has fallen to just 16 BBs or so, meaning we are likely to see some craziness over the next level or two as people stop nitting it up for the payday and start to gamble going FTW.

Bring it on!

Tighe Me Down

David Tighe is our first cashee, he pushed his short stack with but found an excitable Ghassan Chehbi behind him with Aces which flopped trips for added insult. With the average stack now just 19 big blinds, expect the field to be whittled down quickly.

Sam Trickett and Marcus Bebb-Jones are. There's a few lurkers who might make themselves known I would guess.

Daryl is no Moore!

Daryl Moore just raised it up to 4.5k , only to see Guy Rolfe re-pop him to 13k.

He shipped the rest of his stack in with jacks and Rolfe resisted the temptation to ask "Can you tell what it is yet?" quickly flipping up a dominating pair of queens.

A drama-less flop of did nothing to alter the balance of power and Moore was well and truly rogered.

GG.

Marcus Bebb-Jones is out.

Sam Trickett and Ghassan Chehbi continue to spar, albeit within the confines on the structure of the tournament.

Trickett makes it 15k preflop and Chehbi calls in the big blind.

Two Diamonds

Check check.

three diamonds

Check check

three clubs

Check, Sam looks at his cards and bets 17k. Chehbi snaps him off but quickly mucks when Trickett turns over .

Teng Cao updates plz

Going well, but has the big stack of Phillip Toomer on his table now so he has been forced to tone down the aggression a few notches.

Still has plenty of chips though at the moment.

Interesting hand for a Toby Lewis double up.

Raise UTG to 15k from Tony Salmon with perhaps 60k behind. Toby Lewis flat-calls with about 46k behind, everyone else folds.

two hearts

Salmon checks, Lewis moves all-in. After much thought, Salmon calls with virtually flipping against Lewis' Tens, although you wonder what would happen if Salmon had simply pushed with the nut flush draw on the flop...

on the turn and river change nothing and Salmon slips to the rail soon after as Lewis moves over the 100k mark.

Hiren Kanabar lives to fight again. He pushed for perhaps 30k and was snap called by Dan Carter Mk 2's , but turned over the strong which got there eventually by the river of the two hearts board.
