0.5pts Day to win outright @ 26 Pending
0.5pts Hendry to win outright @ 38 Pending
1pt Robertson to beat Carter @ 2.46 Pending
2pts Cope +2.5 frames v Higgins @ 2.02 Pending
5 pts Maguire to beat King IR @ 1.3 Pending

Running total -0.98pts

2pts Carter +2.5 frames v Robertson @ 1.66

I think this one will go all the way, obviously having backed Robertson before the match i am hoping for a 13-12/13-11 Robertson win.
The Higgins v Cope match has been a cracker so far, and the match of the tournament IMO.
Just hope that Cope can deal with the pressure this afternoon and at least get to 11 frames.
Both matches should be great viewing this afternoon.

Higgins and Cope goes to a decider - what a match this has been.
2.4 too good to turn down for a 1 frame shootout.

0.5pts Cope to beat Higgins IR @ 2.4

Pretty underhanded gamesmanship to have fainting Stokies trying to put John off Wink

So we move to the quarter-finals and 4 very intriguing and probably close matches.
I think Day will beat Allen.  It is always difficult to play the next match when you have caused a big upset, and Allen may just struggle in this one.  Day also seems to be in decent form and i think he will have just too much for Allen in this one.
Hendry seems too big at 2.56 considering how he played against Ding in the last round. Murphy did play very well in the last round, but was helped by Fu's woeful performance.  Hopefully Hendry can sneak it to enable me to lay off my outright bet, but i am definately backing him in the h/cap market.
Robertson v Maguire is a tough one to call.  Robertson has looked very good in patches, whilst Maguire doesnt seem to be playing at the top of his game (probably has other things on his mind).  Could go either way, but a small bet on the value, which is Robertson in this one.
For some reason the Selby v Higgins match is priced upp pretty evenly.  Before the tournament started you would have expected Selby to be about 1.6 v Higgins, but the Scot has shown good form this week, while Selby has yet to hit top gear.  I have a feeling that may change in this game though so am going with Selby.

2pts Day to beat Allen @ 1.89
1pt Hendry to beat Murphy @ 2.56
2pts Hendry +3.5 frames v Murphy @ 1.49
1pt Robertson to beat Maguire @ 2.64
2pts Selby to beat Higgins @ 1.96

Awesome break - is great that someone like Hendry can still produce snooker like this.
