If you score the only ACE in any round, you will receive MINUS 1 points for that round. So a solitary ace for a round scores better than a pass.
You ARE allowed to do research such as Google searches to come up with answers. But it wont help that much.

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive 2x the sheep score.
You MUST pass on TWO, and only TWO, question and score a 0 for that question. Unless 8 people (or 15% of the field whichever is the greater) pass on the same question then the pass becomes a fail and you will receive the fail score.

So a solitary ace scores better than a pass? THE SHEEP ANSWER SCORES BETTER THAN A PASS UNLESS LOTS OF PEOPLE PASS ON THE SAME QUESTION!!!

What is the point of giving people 2 passes when unless lots of people also pass on the same question your pass scores double what the worst actual answer scores?

you only score worse if lots of people pick the same question to pass on
you are given 2 passes as there are 18 questions if there was only 1 pass
then it would be hard to see any passes becoming fails

Your original post says "Unless 8 people (or 15%) pass on same question then the pass becomes a fail"

by my understanding that means that if you are the only person who passes on that question then your pass will become a fail

you numpties ... the rule states that IF 8 people or more pass on the same question, THEN it becomes a fail

So if 7 people or less pass on a question it gets 0 points ... if 8 pass or more its a fail.

no it doesnt - thats why i quoted it in bold - it says "unless 8 people pass then the pass becomes a fail"

completely different to "if 8 people pass then the pass becomes a fail"

Reverse Sheep Quiz: The Comedy Edition

Rules

The Rules

There are 18 questions

PM me your answers by TUESDAY 21st  April 23.59 BST. The subject line should be RSQ EPISODE 11 - ANSWERS, and please give each answer on a SEPARATE line with corresponding question number.

Your score for each question is number of people who give the same correct answer. So you want to go for answers that you think will be less commonly given. Levelling commonly happens. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep, with the corresponding sheep score.

QM reserves the right to issue a penalty to anyone that use the word FARCE, or mention that this is the worse RSQ since jonmw roberthm or any other QM. this penalty will be that one of there remaining correct answers will become a fail and everyone who shares the same answer will score the points of a fail.
Spelling mistakes will be treated according to their severity and may invoke a penalty.

Please read the rules, and reread them. Ignorance of the rules will not be an acceptable excuse for farcical objections or questions, and the judge (and jury if necessary) will be called upon to determine guilt and the punishment.
