TBF tho, when i saw it real time, i thought it was the biggest stonewaller of all time.

reply shows that it wasn't infact a penalty at all, however i don't think the ref knew this, i honestly thing he just bottled it at the time and luckily got it correct in the end

I thought it was a pen - it was only Jim Beglin going on and on about it not being a pen that changed a lot of people's minds.

Mike Riley had an absolute shocker as usual - how this guy gets all the big games i will never know.  The minute Ashley Cole took the piss out of him against Spurs and he failed to do anything about it he should have been ordered to retire.
