I have always been not too bothered about rubdowns and trash talk at the table as it adds a little interest to the game - even in the wrong way it still makes it entertaining.  I'd rather watch a table full of Matasow, Hellmuth and Tony G than 10 Iveys but that's me.

Also - I also feel i am above rubdowns as i just laugh it off and no one can really put me off my game - until last night.

I bubbled in a SNG and there was one player who was an absolute pr*ck.  All through the game he was trash talking but never to me so i never once got involved.  Down to 4 his talk got even worse and then i made a move on the button with KJ and walked into his Aces.  The rubdown was just pathetic.  Everyone was just telling him to shut up but he kept laughing at everyone.

It really wound me up so I just hounded him for the next 20 minutes, saying i would play him heads up in a tourney for whatever stake now.  Childish i know but i have never seen such trash talk and rubdowns (Dont even think the three mentioned above could stoop that low).  He was not accepting my challenge but with everyone calling him chicken (even railbirds were getting involved) he finally relented and agreed to play a $20 PLHE heads up.

He won the first hand and was full of it - you're useless go home to mommy etc etc - and then i just clicked into overdrive and absolutely detsroyed him over the next 15 mins.  Never once did he get above 1500 chips.  I really played my A game poker and was so happy.

So there we are - I am childish and should know better but every once in a while people can wind you up and this kid needed to be taught a lesson.  Tonight i shall go back to ignoring if it happens again.

For amusement - i attach a couple of hands....enjoy his vocabulary

theres nothing better than a heads up challenge being set on an stt.  Especially by a bitter loser, I knocked a player out of an stt on vc on the bubble once and he started challenging me to a $1000 heads up limit. I couldnt wait to play as the blinds are8 mins and the best player would come out on top for sure. So i accepted and agreed to sit down after 10 seconds. You can guess what happened i sat down first and as soon as I did another player sat down who is a known as a face on vc Whiteskank.  He must have been watching our conversation unfold. As you can imagine i was not a happy bunny, especially cus as soon as the match started the other player was still giving me abuse. I managed to grind whiteskank down after about 40mins to take the sweetest victory ever.

I later typed the player into my buddy list only to see him entered in the $1 and $2 speed giveaways----  classic stuff

seriously, report the Carlos guy to support.

Use of the objectionable slang word for Black people is well out of order

Apart from that, congratulations for winning out

You have an ABSOLUTE obligation to report this to Customer Support & get this guy banned or, at the very least, his Chat Priveleges withdrawn. Rubdowns are one thing, but the "N-word" is another & it's just totally unacceptable. Nothing could persuade me otherwise.

Down to the last two tables in a multi on Ladbrokes last night, a player was moved to my table and immediately started hurling abuse and verbaly exposing his cards

I always keep the 'customer service' telephone number number of the sites that I play stored in my phone so I gave them a ring and asked them to have a quick look at this blokes chat

Within 3 minutes of arriving at our table, his chat facility had been suspended and we got on with the game

you are right TK, i should report him.  I was so happy to beat him that I had almost forgotten about the vulgarity.

As it happens i think the guy was black (very presumptious comment by me but his avatar was of a black basketball player, his comments throughout suggested it and his use of the 'n' word i think was typical of a young kind of a home-boy) but i could be wrong.

I absolute despise comments of a racist nature (to any colour or race) especially as I myself am Jewish.

Having busted out of the Blonde tourney in 19th place to numerous gl gg ad ul, this was a little bit different.  Oh if only every tourney was played in the spirit of a Blonde tourney with some 'good natured' banter and teasing etc....

It matters not a jot whether the geezer was black, blue or green. Use of the word encourages it's further use, & it just ain't acceptable.

No, not particularly, but the use of the word by the likes of Dr Dre & snoop doggy doog is completely different to it being used in anger, or as a jibe, on a poker site.
