I really think that TDs need to get tougher on drunks and rude behavior of individuals at the poker table. the behavior of a few ruin it for everyone else. So I am happy to bring up 3 occaisions recently where TDs have enforced the rules. First one was in the international where a drunk announced a reraise having not noticed a reraise infront of him, when told of the reraise he mucked his cards, he had to make a minimium reraise (70% of his chips) he tried to get his cards back but was not allowed and his chips were added to the pot.
2nd on in the G casino in aberdeen where on a final table a drunk player was asked to leave and escorted out of the casino and his chips lifted from the table
3rd and possilby the best was HU at the end of the tourny in the G casino where a guy was warned of his behaviour but contiunes to be abusive to his opponant, he was given a 15 minute penalty which with blinds of 3/6k and only about 100k in front of him meant by the time he sat back down he had finished 2nd
can we get more TDs taking action against the drunk and abusive players please and maybe we will get a game that we can enjoy

Or alternatively, don't go to play poker in Aberdeen as it's full of drunks.

It would help if it became the standard response from the TDs. But unfortunately, it's not.
At DTD they aren't slow at throwing out abusive drunks. Which is how it should be.

They sure will mate. you dont think this will help? No why dont you think it will discourage people? if you was thrown out or given a penalty that costs you a few hundred or you seen it happen surely it will discourage you from going ott

i've seen them behave twatty without a drink i've also been hammered at a table but when drunk didnt abuse anyone and kept upto speed with the game (anyone rember the first apat event in broadways?) the problem isnt the drink and thats not why the DQs were done its the behavour when drunk hopefully the same rules apply when sober

But I see it all the time in smaller comps, your absolutely right it should be enforced, but it won't make a blind bit of difference to the person drinking, once they are at the point where they are being a pain they are usually too drunk to think about the consequences.
