Hello everyone....

I have found this site after looking around for a uk based Poker forum (fed up of yanks taking things a little too seriously).

However, this forum is a little more than what I expected. What exactly is the "blonde Poker" thing? Am I right to assume that you are all actually quite stupid, and perhaps not very good at Poker (there seems to be more discussion on nonesense rather than actual Poker strategy).

If I am right, where do you guys play? If not, I am sorry that I offended you..... I'll get me coat.

cheers

Foolish

Hi foolish.

Yes, there is a lot of nonsense here, but it's all good natured and merely adds to the great comuntiy spirit we have created here.

On the whole, we are all big big poker fans and, although we like to speak off-topic and discuss other non-poker related issues, you'll also find that we're pretty serious about poker. From hand analysis to tournament reports, poker etiquette to book reviews, bankroll management to Poker for Charity, we discuss a very broad range of subjects.

If you haven't already done so, please check out our live update section, in which we commentate on the action of main events as it happens. Recent excursions include WSOP 2005, Monte Carlo, & Midlands Masters.

If you have a scour through our members list, you may also spot a few famous names. Carlo Cirtone, Simon 'Aces' Trumper, & Harry D are just some of the names that post here.

Personally, I play mainly at Grosvenor Casino, Walsall, but I have also been spotted in venues such as Luton, Gala Notts, & Owlerton Sheffield.

So, in answer to your querie, Blondepoker is predominantly an online community where we come to talk about poker, but we also allow discussions of any kind as long as they remain good natured and flame-free.

Welcome to the site. We hope you enjoy it here. Like all other new members, I'm sure you will be welcomed with open arms.

Please feel free to join in.

ps. we're not all stupid. I have a GCSE in P.E!

What i like about this forum compared to other's I've been members of is that there's a range of good topics, all the posts aren't just hand analysis, how do i win..., can anyone lend me sone money etc etc. Most other poker forums are full of these sorts of things and they really bore me.

He has a point about blonde in the name. I first thought it stood for being stupid, like a dumb blonde. However after a 2 min scan through the site it all made sense.
It's the best place to have a chat or a laugh and find out some useful info. Also the live updates are the nuts.
So welcome foolish, are you feeling a little foolish?

At least no one on here comes on begging for money. Another site I'm a member on regularly has people posting up sob stories/scams and trying to get money from people to play. Sometime's even begging for as little as a dollar.

Sadly it'll probably come. No matter how hard anyone tries it'll come. Same as members using multiple identities to cause trouble which usually starts as one/two regulars having fun then escalates as others see how easy it is to do. Not everyones sense of fun is the same so it causes problems.

Hopefully it's a long way off and will be eradicated fairly quickly unlike most forums.

Internet forums usually follow some kind of pattern. At least Tikay has already shown he will deal with things as he sees fit and that may put off some.

We have detected several peeps who have tried multiple identities on blonde for mischievous reasons, & dealt with them accordingly. That's the policy.
