last week all pubs in bexleyheath were banned by police from showing the leeds-millwall game

are they allowed to do that? anyone know of this sort of thing happening before?

it seems like a strange place to have singled out for the ban, it's a mixed charlton/millwall area but not particularly close to the new den, in fact it's much closer to the valley

yeah but it's the same thing when the police have to sign off on your licence

rhodesy, def nothing to do with leeds fans, there are more pubs in the area than there are northerners. it's def a crack down on millwall fans. I've quite often seen pubs closed because of millwall, just never known the ob to control what's shown on tv

bloody millwall

all pubs in charlton are shut today on police advice except the away pub so the millwall fans aren't on the streets. only places to get a drink are the conservative club and the pub under the west stand. gonna be fun getting 18k of us in 2 boozers

good job the pubs were shut. I saw more trouble at today's game than I've seen in total in the 13 years since we last played them

not helped by very poor stewarding and policing

We have got them at home on boxing day, pretty glad i am away tbh. Though they will probably not get what they are looking for in Norwich.

it's unlikely to be the same tbh. this was a huge local derby between 2 teams who hate each other but hadn't played each other for 13 years

millwall's pwopa nawty boys only turn out for certain games (this, west ham). it was the first time I can remember the away end being 100% sold for a year yet they were the quietest set of fans we've had down this year, the 150 from barnet made much more noise, so obv not all were there for the footy

I hope we send them the repair bill for the bits of the stadium that got thrown at the stewards

met police are abs crazy, it kicked off prematch and during the match so they let both sets of fans out at the same time and funnelled them onto the same narrow street

just catching up with what happened at the weekend when we finally went to the new den for a game. despite half our lot trying to leave 20 minutes from the end not a single away fan was allowed out of the ground until 45 minutes after the final whistle. the stewards claimed they'd lost the key but apparently it's pretty standard down there even though they've now got the covered walkway from the away end to the station so the fans can't mix

our lot got bored and nicked a couple of police helmets for entertainment
