Bit of a rush job this one so we can get back on track with Thursday reveals. Hopefully the short notice will keep numbers down.

There are 13 questions, PM me your answers to them by Thursday May 21st 12 noon, each answer on a different line with corresponding question number.

Reveal will be Thursday May 21st starting at 19.30.

Your score for each question is number of people who give the same correct answer. So you want to go for answers that you think will be less commonly given. Levelling commonly happens. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep, with the corresponding sheep score.

You are not allowed to do research such as Google searches to come up with answers.

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + one half the number of distinct correct answers given, rounded up.

You MUST pass on one, and only one, question and score a 0 for that question.

Any questions about the questions, post in this thread.

Any rules I’ve forgotten, assume they’re much the same as in previous games

Having been outed as a dirty rotten cheating scoundrel Mr Tightend will not be allowed to win although he may enter as usual

1.Name a NASA space shuttle

2.Name a method of execution which is legal in at least one US state

3.Name a country which was once part of the soviet union

4.Name one of the first seven people to post on this thread after I post to tell you that entries are closed

5.Name a category in which a nobel prize may be awarded

6.Name one of the ten most common gases in the earth’s atmosphere

7.Name one of the dwarves from the original 1937 film version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

8.Name one of the world’s ten largest countries

9.Name a Scottish Premier League club from the 2008/09 season

10.Name an instrument found in an orchestra’s string section

11.Name a soap opera dog and the programme it appears/appeared in

12.Name someone who has been in either The Beatles or The Rolling Stones

13.This rsq has thirteen questions. Choose one of them

*********************
you will by now no doubt be aware that Mr Tightend has been found guilty of all charges of cheating by google and sentenced to a one match suspension. however, as the court did not pass judgement until 19 entries had already been received it was agreed that the criminal's answers would still be marked even though his score is meaningless

the prescence of his answers will still be important however as-

a) any aces which would have been scored by the disgraced will still count as distinct correct answers for the purposes of determining fail scores and
b) any non-ace correct answer given will still serve to add a point to the scores of all those giving the same response

Am I banned from this one on spurious and frankly totally unconvincing suggestions impugning my character?

you're not banned rich, you're just not allowed to win

tbh the evidence was pretty convincing and your defence was, well, non existant. you should be glad I won, there are others who would see you hanged from the nearest tree

normally with RSQ questions i thought the idea was that everyone knew the more obvious answers but tried to go with a less obvious one so as to try and avoid the sheep score

now we need to all get out our crystal balls and look into the future with Q4!!

In protest I hereby boycott this RSQ. If I can't have a chance of winning, why bother?

"indeed it is Frank, I normally drive around on my own but today I've got my mum and dad in the back"
