Here's what I've jotted down so far.

January

15th – Annual Solar Eclipse
Michael Jackson’s tour – last month will be February


February

12th-18th – Winter Olympics (Canada)
Michael Jackson’s tour finishes


March

Carling Cup Final
7th - Oscars
12th - 21ST Winter Paralympics

April
25th - London Marathon

World Cup in Southafrica in June and July, maybe?

I'm guessing that might become a big thing...almost as big as Boshi's waste line when he retires from running and joins the rest of us lazy slobs.

Looking at Jan-April only.

Edit: Need some music events/festivals, big things that happen on tv etc. Seem to have sport fairly covered off I think.

All the festivals tend to start May/June time.
