Nah. we'll pump Hibs, qualify for Europe, and he'll be persona plus grata again.

Final nail in Tango's coffin?
Sorry how is this Calderwood's fault?
And also Priory lol. Some stag do that is, celebrating it with 15 year old girls.
Allowed players to have a stag doo on the week of a crucial, the crucial now, final game of the season. The look on his face as he was interviewed outside Pittodrie last night told a very big story, he's a very worried man, and quite rightly too. Bye bye Tango.
They're adults ffs,
they should be able to have a night out without getting into a fight. It's not Calderwood's job to babysit them.
You're clearly one of the deluded fans that thinks getting rid of Calderwood is going to suddenly have us winning the league, cups and europa league.
They're ATHLETES FFS! And yes it IS Calderwoods job to babysit them, he's the bloody MANager.
I'm not in any way deluded about Calderwood, who said anything about winning the league, how many Dons fans do you know thinks we should be wiining the league? We SHOULD be beating Queens Park, QoS, Dunfermline, Falkirk, ICT. We SHOULD be winning more than 2 out of the last 15 games, when Europe is on the line, and the quality in the SPL is as low as it has been for many a year. That's what we SHOULD be doing.
youve obv no idea about football if you calderwood should be sacked

This is ridiculous. So you're suggesting they aren't allowed to go out on the piss with their pals on their night off? Calderwood's job is to manage them when they are at training or at matches, they can do what they want on their time off. Mark Kerr is an idiot to have got involved in a fight and if it turns out he is to blame he should be punished but you can't stop the players going out on the off chance they'll get into a fight. Trying to blame Calderwood for this really is clutching at straws.

Yes we should be beating those teams most of the time but what team doesn't have slip ups? Man U got beat by Exeter, Chelsea got beat by Barnsley as did Liverpool, Celtic ICT. I agree we should have got to the Scottish Cup Final this season but not getting there is not reason enough to sack Calderwood.
Who would you have instead?
McGhee? He's shown he's a one season wonder and would do no better than Jimmy.
Levein? No chance he'd leave Utd.
I honestly can't see any available managers that would leave their club to come to a skint Aberdeen who fire their manager after losing one questionable game a season and taking us on the best European run since i was born.

And therein lies the problem. You have grown to accept mediocrity becasue you know no better. He hasn't lost one questionable game, he has lost a boatload of them, especially in the cups. Under Claderwood we haven;t reached a single cup final, not one. He sees top six as some sort of achievement, when if any of Rangers, Cletic, Hearts, Hibs, Utd or the DOns don;t finish top 6 then it is massive failure. HE is where we should be, and has had more money to spend by far than Patterson ever did.The European cup run, well what was that? We beat Copenhagen, and...? Dnipro was without doubt a great result, but after that we survived due to a flawed system of qualification, rather than any shadow of greatness suddenly befalling the team.

LOL, said like a true Old Firm man. Both sets of supporters are more than glad to have Calderwood at the helm at Pittodrie, it just means one less team capable of giving them a hard time.
Tell me this, if Tango is so good, why is it that when other jobs come up, he never gets a mention? Despite all the west coast media wanking on about how hard done by he is from th Dons support, when McLeish left, where was the clamour of JC for Scotland? I didn't hear it, in fact not a single voice put him forward, and yet AFC are meant to put up with his particular brand of tedious, defensive, losing football?
Where are the shouts for JC for Rangers? Plenty want Walter out, and yet the obvious candidate, the man who has masterminded ABerdeen's "glorious" run of top six
success
is nowhere to be seen? Surely, I mean
surely
the most qualified for the job, because we're continually being told so from Glasgow!

Are you even aware of McGhee's record in football? He has been pretty successful everywhere he's been, with the possible exception of Wolves. And this season he was abdsolutely decimated by injuries, after of course losing some of his best over the summer, and yet despite that the Dons just pipped them to top six 'glory'.

I thought it was a bit odd that he didn't join the players in an end of season lap of honour at the end of the match.

McGhhe then Black are favourites, but who knows. Laszlo let the cat out of the bag in his post match press conference before there was any word from Pittodrie, how did he know? Could be him.
