Gatso, please stay in tonight .... your posts are the highlight of the RSQ's for me, plus I am compiling a list of the amount of times your quite reasonable and correct objections are ignored or fobbed off by the quite frankly mentally deficient quiz masters Wink

hush you.  I should like to make clear that this point that objections or the like by non-participants will be ignored!

Ah, but Claire, you didn't state that in the rules (unlike previous QM's) FYL, it's a free for all!

Nice try and all that, but you can't add a rule at this late stage  Cheesy

the important thing as a qm is to have an understanding of the english language. if you don't then you are doomed as has been shown in 17 of the previous 18 quizzes

translation please?

важную вещь как QM заключается в понимании английского языка. Если у вас нет, то вы обречены, как было показано в 17 предыдущих 18 викторины

I fear the worst.

Question 1 was a horrible start. Why put a question that about half your potential responders will have to pass as the first question? hardly encouraged 40+ respondees did it? as shown in a response of 24.

Question 2 was equally bad. Far too South-East centric. I thought Glastonbury would have been a better question choice.

Question 3, to be fair, was decent and required some thought. I reckon there will be fails on that. Possibly myself included

Question4 was nicely high-brow. Well done

Question 5 shows Farce potential

Of the others the Q11 fashion required complete guesswork, but guesswork to avoid a sheep is not so easy. I reckon it in a nanosecond put dozens of male RSQers off the format for life. Fashion? stick to sport, please

Question 13 was genuinely good, I expect much controversy.

I could go on, but will later instead.

quite. I may have failed it then. I believed the V festival was the one in Chelmsford, I think. Chelmsford is in the South East of the country (though not compared to Kent), so I probably don't know what the V festival is then

well I didn't know that

but as Chelmsford is in the South East I can safely swat away your premature objection to my point. A rarity, and one I will enjoy

I had no idea what a fecking v festival was, I thought it was a reunion of the TV program seeing as Q1 was about TV. Anyway as a guess I put the dunkenest, druggiest, dirtiest musical personality I could think of and I couldn't be arsed to google it after I had sent in the Q's to see if I was anywhere close. Cos this quiz is a total and utter farce - and as farces go it is worse that my efforts in Dublin last weekend (both at poker and drinking)....
