objection to yorkshire and sussex they are not counties http://www.gbet.com/AtoZ_counties/historic counties, yes. but that only means they were counties during norman times The question referred to cricket and Yorkshire and Sussex are recognised as Counties in the 2009 Championship if it had asked for a team in the county championship then they would be correct, however it asked for a county. neither are counties

I'm looking at this one - please hold on.

They are split differently according to the purpose - such as a council administrative region. The post office, for example, don't use counties at all in their addressing system. This site lists Yorkshire as a single entity: http://www.abcounties.co.uk/

No. Sweet. Don't really care about the objection then. Yorkshire will go from 6 points to 7 points. It'll hurt the other guys more

No. it is if you read the rules but it'd probs mess up adam's spreadsheet so he's got to say no It wouldnt. The sheep score is the highest number of correct answers. It's impossible to have a sheep score for non-correct answers as the FAIL score has a sheep score so you need the sheep score to work out the FAIL score, with me? Anyway, I've decided. Counties were defined in the Local Government Act 1972. Yorkshire and Sussex are not on that list, they have been split up. Objection upheld - Yorkshire and Sussex are FAILS.
