So the stuff you get in Tesco`s

would be best described as..............?

uncooked fish!

It's not uncooked

I like tesco's sushi, how close is it to the good stuff?

And I don't want any sushi snobbery answers, I want an answer from someone who has at least eaten the tesco's stuff rather than just pre judging it. Cheesy

It's utter crap.  So is M&S sushi.  It's like comparing a ready-made microwave meal to a meal in a restaurant.

Terry, is there actually any fish in the Tesco sushi?  It looks like egg and vegetable sushi to me.  Maybe some tinned tuna in there?

They have 5 or 6 options.

It has crossed my mind to ask you - where would you recommend in the UK for good sushi?

Particularly London as that's where I go most often which is likely to have somewhere, but anywhere really - just in case I have the chance if I'm around those locations.

I think London is your best bet in the UK.  To be honest, I don't get to London too often, and have only had sushi there a few times.  There's a good place in Ealing Broadway - can't remember what it's called.  Not a huge variety there, but it was good stuff (and full of Japanese people, if that means anything).

You're probably best to do a search on google for places that are recommended.  Monkey matt or sharplea will be able to help you with the googling...
