Villain is decent TAG, running 23/21/3 with a 8% 3b over a chunky sample. We have little history this session. He views me as spewy lag, but hasnt played me for a while.

Turn action for maximum monies.....
Not that i know what I am talking about but my view is as follows:
Pre flop: Seems ok, I guess i would call more often than 4 betting for domination value deep (i.e. if he has aq and you 4 bet u prob aint getting action, whereas if u flat and play it fast on almost all boards you hit then i think you can confuse your opponent into doing something spewy/stupid) but 4 betting is ok
Flop: Flop bet size looks perfect to me
Turn: bout 850 in pot and you have about 600 back? I honestly think vs anyone who isnt a total clown (you said this guy is decent reg) that anything other than a shove on the turn is really really horrible. Reason being that he will check behind everything you beat on the turn. He is never floating with total air obviously, and so checking has no good points to it whatsoever in this hand as far as i see it.
Also, if u do check turn, and he checks behind with 99-qq, and then you shove the river then you look so huge that i dont see him ever calling 99-qq or kq on the river once u shove river after checking turn. whereas if u shove the turn then it looks alot more bluffy and weaker, and he mite not fold 99-qq and stuff
Shoving is fine, because he might make a loose call with 88-qq thinking maybe you have a flush draw, or maybe you are just following a bluff all the way through and trying to represent the ak or AA/kk
