Lol @ everyone just wanting to take this so serious and start questioning the way people spend their money. I'd hate for you guys to go out and have fun.
+1 million
Lol. You've added 99,999 opinions to your own James.
Now that's balla!
You were out on that figure by some 900,000 Tom, which you obv didn't even notice....now that's balla!
Bollocks! I just can't get the hang of these 6 figure sums.
I should stick to women. I understand those.

I must be getting old, just don't see need to spunk money against the wall for no reason just becasue I have it. You can have lots of fun without spending $100's on champagne and larging it up. I guess that's what the young un's do these days.
Enjoy it while it lasts

Anyway, however it's spent, I suppose it still works it's way through the economy, so everyone benefits.
Burning it though?
...
I read an interview with one of the KLF - quite a while ago, so memory of it is a bit hazy - but IIRC burning the million wasn't a balla act it was some kind of art type statement.
i.e. They were just a bit mental

You're absolutely right, I have no right to question how peeps spend their money, and I didn't really intend to do that, nobody likes a sanctimonious bastard.
Anyway, however it's spent, I suppose it still works it's way through the economy, so everyone benefits.

"I'd hate for you guys to go out and have fun"
This made me laugh because it reminded me of something that Mrs Red says.
Although she doesn't drink much, she likes parties, weddings etc, I don't, but I sometimes go along for her sake. When I do, I tend to stay in the background and she says
"Your problem is, you don't like enjoying yourself".
Please keep Mrs Red away from MrsB at the next Blonde bash...they might agree on too many things.
Although I bet Mrs Red doesn't tell you
"you're getting jowly"
that happens when u get old...
Apparently I'll end up like a cross between Victor Meldrew and Walther Matthau

Depends your definition of fun. Mine is having a laugh with people that you know and like, not spending sick amounts of money in the hope that people will think you're great.
In fact, Ivey is the one person that never looks like he is having fun.
