Interesting reading. Would be a cracking signing for a non top-10 Premiership club I think, on a two year view

If fit, will score goals, will sell a lot of shirts, will increase club profile

Definitely an interesting read. I especially found the medical report interesting - pity we don't have the club's medical officer's side to the story.

For someone like Stoke/Hull who will play balls over the top for him to chase, he'd be a good signing.

I have very mixed feelings about Owen but at the moment i'm not his biggest fan, most things he comes out with are an actual contridiction of the point he's trying to make i.e I don't want to talk about other clubs while i'm still contracted to newcastle as that would be disrespectful, then in the same sentance go on about how clubs from eng and abroad want him but he want's to play in the prem.More frustatingly how he always used to say england didn't matter to him he just wanted to get fit and repay newcastle for there support, then in the same interview non stopping going on about how much he wanted to be back in the england set up and how important it was to him,he has always put his country before his club and when it's the club paying his wages then i disagree with his attitude

Definitely an interesting read. I especially found the medical report interesting - pity we don't have the club's medical officer's side to the story.

Erm you ever watched him play in the last 2/3 years this would not be a good tactic

Cliff notes on what he said about club medic plz cba to read the pile of shite

Just things like making him do bleep tests on first days of training after he's come back from groin strains etc. Basically making out that the doc gave him a nice structure to get him fully fit and that everytime, a different club medic would throw it out the window.

www.nufc.com aren't fans...

Feel free to take your gissa job brochure, your helicopter, your equine fixation and your miserable face to anywhere daft enough to employ you. We're already looking forward to your duet on the KC Stadium pitch with Phil Brown...

Don't think that this criticism has anything to do with your fading talents as a footballer though - no, our beef with you remains the four years-worth of utter contempt shown to the people who bought the shirts, seats and subscriptions that funded your lavish lifestyle.

At least people like Joey Barton go through the motions of badge-kissing and patronising the punters. You couldn't even be bothered to do that, spending your time on Tyneside with a face like a smacked arse, interspersed with brief interludes of sucking lemons.

Your skin may be thick but it'll never be as thick as your wallet. Don't feel bad about us though - we'd have only blown the tens of millions of pounds that went into your offshore accounts on other ungrateful pillocks.

No shame, no guts, no soul, but a bulging portfolio. Role model? my arse. You put the con in Icon.

Owens finished...  to much interested in his stable and how his horses are coming along.   His days of football glory in premiership football are over.

There is some rubbish spoken about Owen. Hope he comes back and proves all his doubters wrong.

Easy fella.  NoFlops is a NUFC fan as well.  He was saying that they aren't fans of Owen on nufc.com.
